Dr. Kevin Long is a psychiatrist at NYC Psychiatric Associates, where he provides comprehensive mental health care through psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and psychotherapy.
He earned both his Doctor of Medicine and Master of Public Health degrees from the University of Pittsburgh and holds dual bachelor’s degrees in Chemistry and Psychology from Carnegie Mellon University.
Dr. Long completed his residency in General Adult Psychiatry at Zucker Hillside Hospital at Northwell Health, where he trained extensively in emergency psychiatry, inpatient and outpatient care, and cross-cultural mental health. His clinical interests include mood and anxiety disorders, trauma-informed care, and addressing social determinants of mental health.
With a strong foundation in public health and a deep commitment to equity, Dr. Long has conducted research on health disparities, global mental health, and the experiences of unmatched medical students, with publications in peer-reviewed journals and presentations at national conferences.
He is dedicated to providing compassionate, individualized care and creating a supportive therapeutic environment for patients from all backgrounds.
