Vivian Song, PhD

Dr. Vivian Song is a licensed psychologist who earned her degree from Teachers College, Columbia University in New York. She completed her predoctoral clinical internship at Jewish Child Care Association Foster Home Services, working with children, adolescents, and young adults who presented with complex trauma.

Dr. Song also completed a two-year postdoctoral fellowship in pediatric neuropsychology at the Brooklyn Learning Center, where the focus was on neuropsychological testing and treatment of people who presented with attention, executive functioning and learning difficulties, as well as anxiety and depression.

After formal training, Dr. Song developed neuropsychological testing services at a clinical practice serving people struggling with substance use and co-occurring disorders. Dr. Song utilizes DBT and other evidence-based interventions, as well as draws from her neuropsychological testing experience to work with people to better understand their strengths and challenges and help them navigate interpersonal relationships and general life areas.

She brings a balance of curiosity, warmth, and humor to cultivate a collaborative environment.
